Moisture
Avoid exposing your jewellery to moisture during activities like showering, hand washing, exercising, and swimming to prevent tarnishing.

Storage
Do not store your jewellery in gift boxes for long periods. Instead, keep your pieces in a cool, dry place. Do not place them out under the direct sunlight, and do not place them on top of /near the heater.

Platinum Care
- Durability: Platinum is highly durable and resistant to tarnish, making it excellent for everyday wear.
- Storage: Store separately to prevent scratches, especially from harder gemstones.
- Cleaning: Platinum can be cleaned with a soft cloth and a mild soap solution. For a more thorough cleaning, use a soft brush to gently scrub the platinum under warm running water. Avoid using harsh chemicals.

18K Solid Gold Care
- Durability: 18K consists of 75% gold, making it softer and more prone to scratching compared to 14K.
- Storage: Store separately in a soft compartment to avoid scratches.
- Cleaning: Polish gently with a soft gold-polishing cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a soft brush with a mild soap solution and dry thoroughly.

14K Solid Gold Care
- Durability: 14K consists of 58.5% gold. Ideal for everyday wear, 14K gold is durable and less prone to scratching.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush with warm soapy water.

9K Gold Care
- Durability: 9K consists of 37.5% gold. Hard and resistant to scratches; suitable for active use.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place.
- Cleaning: Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap solution.

925 Sterling Silver Care

- Maintenance: Regular wear helps reduce tarnishing.
- Storage: Use the anti-tarnishing tab provided with your purchase.
- Cleaning: Clean with a soft polishing cloth or a specific silver cleaner. Ultrasonic cleaners are safe for sterling silver.

18K Gold Plated Care
- Durability: Features a thin layer of 18k gold over a base metal.
- Storage: Store in a lined box or pouch to prevent scratches.
- Cleaning: Clean gently with a soft cloth and mild soap solution; avoid using harsh abrasives. Regular polishing with a soft cloth can help maintain the shine and prevent tarnishing.

Pearl Care (Including Freshwater, Akoya, South Sea, and Tahitian)
- Sensitivity: Handle with care to avoid scratches and damage from chemicals.
- Storage: Store in a soft pouch, separate from other jewelry.
- Cleaning: Wipe with a soft cloth after wearing. Occasionally clean with mild soap and water, and lay flat to dry.

- Avoid: Never use ultrasonic cleaners or steamers, as they can cause significant damage to all types of pearls.

Opal Care (Including Solid White Opal, Solid Black Opal, Doublet Opal, and Triplet Opal)
- Sensitivity: Opals are delicate and can be affected by changes in temperature, humidity, and exposure to harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store opals away from direct sunlight and in a moist absorbent cotton pad to prevent drying out, especially for solid opals.
- Cleaning: For solid opals, clean gently with a soft, damp cloth. Doublets and triplets should be cleaned with care to avoid water seeping into the layers, use only a slightly damp cloth and avoid any liquid on the back.
- Avoid: Never use ultrasonic cleaners or steamers, as they can cause significant damage to all types of opals.

Natural Diamond and Lab Diamond Care
- Durability: Both natural and lab-grown diamonds are extremely durable, rated a 10 on the Mohs scale of hardness.
- Storage: Store diamonds separately to avoid scratches on other jewellery pieces.
- Cleaning: Diamonds should be cleaned regularly to maintain their brilliance. Use a solution of warm water and mild dish soap with a soft toothbrush. For thorough cleaning, ultrasonic cleaners are effective but should be used cautiously depending on the setting and other gemstones in the jewellery.

Natural Gemstone Care
- Durability: Varies by gem type, but generally, gemstones can be sensitive to heat and chemicals.
- Storage: Store each piece separately to avoid scratches.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush with warm soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures. Dry with a soft cloth.
- Avoid: Never use ultrasonic cleaners or steamers, as they can cause significant damage to all types of gemstones.

Moissanite Care
- Durability: Highly durable and perfect for daily wear.
- Cleaning: Use warm soapy water and a soft brush. Ultrasonic cleaners are safe.

By adhering to these care instructions, your Lovelle jewellery will maintain its beauty and functionality for many years.

Whether you’re looking for couple’s rings, wedding bands, or engagement rings, these are some of the gems that you can look forward to when shopping our collection:

  • Diamonds. These can be set against yellow, white, or rose gold. You will find wedding rings for both women and men featuring delicate designs such as the 18K Sommet rounded diamond ring or the classic curve diamond band. If, instead, you’re looking for a statement piece, consider the diamond ribbon ring or the yin yang diamond band. If your budget is less flexible, we stock the equally opulent moissanite engagement rings. Although they are more affordable than diamonds, they are second to them in durability and don’t scratch easily.

  • Australian opal rings in Sydney CBD. Did you know that these precious stones take 1.2 billion years to form and that 95% of the world’s opal production happens in Australia, 10% of these are black opal which is dark grey and has a complete rainbow colour spectrum. Variants of this gem include the boulder opal, extracted as a single piece from Northern Queensland, Quilpie, and Winton. White opal, instead, has a milky or translucent appearance, while the Welo or African/Ethiopian opal has distinctive markings that catch the light and shimmer.

  • Pearls have historically been highly valued as gemstones for many centuries, where the most valuable pearls occur naturally in the wild but these are extremely rare. These days most pearls are cultured. Some customers may ask for completely natural pearls that grow in the wild and aren’t touched by man. You may explain to the customer “Yes, these types of pearls exist, however they are very expensive. All of the pearls you see being sold today are all cultured. These are still natural pearls, they are still grown in oysters. What the divers will do is seed each oyster with a nucleus. This is the same as the natural process for an oyster in the wild, where a bit of irritant goes into the shell and the oyster produces nacre in many layers around it to protect itself from the irritant.” There are 5 different types of Pearls that we sell. Freshwater, Akoya, White Southsea Pearls, Golden Southsea Pearls, Tahitian Pearls These are the common shapes that you can find in pearls.

  • Precious stones. Besides rings, we offer other exceptional jewellery such as the old-world locket with emerald and mother of pearl, pendants such as the playfully posh treasure chest with ruby. You will also find pieces that can be beautifully paired, such as the multi-sapphire ring with the rainbow drop pendant. Alternatively, you can match our gemstone earrings with rings from our collection that include amethyst, aquamarine, blue topaz, citrine, garnet, moonstone, morganite, peridot, tanzanite, and tsavorite.

  • Custom designs. You have the option of expressing your creativity with us or recreating a piece you were inspired by where we help you create bespoke jewels. The simple process involves sharing your idea, collaborating with us to create a design, confirming a digital CAD drawing, and four-to-six-week production time. We also offer custom hand engraving, where you can engrave details into your jewellery such as dates and names, in a handwritten style.

  • After-sales service: To keep your piece in mint condition, we provide complimentary cleaning, ring polishing, and rhodium plating services. We can also resize and repair your ring and offer 24/7 customer care.

  • Accessibility. Our collection of opals is set as triplets (three natural layers, black onyx backing, and crystal cover) and doublets (two layers, opal layer set against a boulder opal ironstone), making them more economical.

  • Competitive pricing. We offer various payment options and FREE domestic shipping. You also won’t have to postpone your purchase due to cash constraints with our six-month layby facility, for which you need only pay a deposit of $50.
