Custom Jewellery Design Progress
When it comes to custom-made jewelry, the process typically involves several key steps to ensure that the final piece meets your expectations and reflects personal style. Here’s a general outline of the custom jewelry design process:
Consultation:
The first step is usually a consultation, either in person or virtual, where you discuss your vision, preferences, budget, and timeline. This is the time to bring any inspiration images or ideas to help the designer understand what you're looking for.

Material Selection:
Once the design is finalized, you'll select the materials for your piece, such as the type of metal (gold, silver, platinum) and the gemstones (diamonds, sapphires, etc.). The quality and type of materials will affect the overall cost and appearance of the piece.
Quotation:
After finalizing the design and materials, the designer will provide a detailed quote that includes the cost of materials and labor. This gives you a clear understanding of the investment required for the custom piece.

Deposit:
Once you decide to proceed with the design, a 50% deposit is required to begin the process.
Design Concept:
Based on the initial consultation, the designer will sketch out a few concepts or create digital renderings (CAD drawings) of the proposed piece. This helps visualize what the finished product will look like. Adjustments and revisions can be made during this phase to refine the design.
[We will create a CAD drawing of your design, which takes 2-3 business days. If the deposit has not been collected, we will charge $150 for the drawing. This amount will be credited toward your final payment when you proceed.]

Creation:
Upon approval of the quote and design, the designer begins the actual crafting of the jewelry. Production takes 4-6 weeks. We will keep you updated on the progress.
Review and Adjustment:
Before the final piece is completed, you might have a chance to review it to ensure everything is as expected. If any adjustments are needed, they can be made at this stage.
Ring Collection/Delivery:
Once everything is perfect, the finished jewelry piece is presented to you. We will notify you when your piece is ready for collection or arrange for delivery. This is also when the final payment is typically due.

It's a collaborative effort that often involves multiple revisions and decisions along the way to achieve the desired outcome.
